Paulo Filho Pulled From Fight After Suffering A Seizure

News

Paulo Filho was pulled out of a scheduled fight this past weekend after reportedly suffering a seizure.

Filho, a former WEC middleweight champion and PRIDE veteran, was scheduled to fight UFC veteran Amilcar Alves in the Fatality Arena 7 main event in Sao Goncalo, but was yanked from the match with only hours to go

According to Osiris Maia, member of the Brazilian Mixed Martial Arts Confederation (CBMMA), Filho suffered a seizure.

“Paulo was apparently hospitalized this morning after suffering a seizure. We can’t let him fight after that,” Maia told MMAFighting.com.
