Mark Hunt is already ready to get back in the Octagon.
Following his second-round knockout of Roy Nelson on Saturday at UFC Fight Night 52 in Japan, Hunt told reporters that he is injury-free and ready, willing and able to fight again on Nov. 7 in Sydney.
“I want to move forward,” he said. “I want to move up into the rankings. I want to get a title shot. My purpose is to fight for a title. Fighting someone outside of the top-10, it makes me go backwards.
The problem is that there really isn’t anyone available for Hunt to fight. Alistair Overeem is already booked, although a match against Matt Mitrione certainly wouldn’t be out of question.
“But hey, of course I would consider fighting someone outside of the top-10 if it was in Sydney. What’s up, boss?”
