Ben Henderson Ready To Move Into Welterweight Division

News

Ben Henderson has always been big for the 155-pound division and it appears the former UFC and WEC lightweight champion is ready to move up.

Henderson’s coach, The MMA Lab’s John Crouch, said that his fighter is planning on having one more bout at 155, then making the move up on yesterday’s edition of UFC Tonight.

Henderson wants one more fight at lightweight because he doesn’t want to exit the division on a loss to Rafael dos Anjos.

“He would like to see what it feels like to not cut weight,” Crouch said. “The weight cut is irritating for him.”
