Tuesday Raw Roundtable: Raw Goes Pink! Plus, Rusev

Features, Top Story

WWE presented a pink-a-rific episode of Monday Night Raw, with a heel dominated main event angle.

What did a few of the Pulse Wrestling staffers think?

Justin Czerwonka

I thought this show was a bit of a step up from previous weeks. There wasn’t a lot of wrestling on the show, but it felt like it had more direction than last week’s show did. Rollins ending the show standing tall is good if you want to build him up as a top heel threat down the line. He continues to grow into his role well. I’m giving the show a 5. I thought it was an average show that good have used some more wrestling but was also made much more entertaining thanks to Dean Ambrose.

If there were ever a week where WWE looked its maximum PG-ness, its most corporate and most vanilla ever, it was this week. The entire show was soaked in pink for the Komen Foundation, which is absolutely a nice gesture, but was definitely overdone on this show. To build the entire show to a Hulk Hogan appearance where he cut a promo on breast cancer, plus THREE diva’s matches, it was just so much content that no one was interested in seeing. If not for Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins, WWE would have nothing at all going for it right now. Daniel Bryan can’t come back fast enough.
