Mauricio ‘Shogun’ Rua has competed for the light heavyweight title before, and believes he can again.
The former light heavyweight champion wants to start his comeback with a win against Jimi Manuwa at UFC Fight Night 56 in Brazil and says that he is just two wins away from a title shot.
“I believe so, but I can’t think about it,” Rua told MMAFighting.com. “I only think about winning my next fight. I have to focus only on my next fight, and not my next ones. If I start thinking about my next three fights, I might lose focus on my next one.”
