Jim Ross Believes Brock Lesnar Could Mount UFC Comeback In 2015

Despite a three year absence from the Octagon, Jim Ross believes that Brock Lesnar is still capable of returning to MMA.

The legendary pro-wrestling announcer revealed that Lesnar’s contract with WWE could run its course following WrestleMania 31 next March. He speculated that Lesnar could conceivably decide to return to Dana White’s organization again and that his health is no longer a factor.

“I see no reason he couldn’t have the potential to return to the UFC and sell pay-per-views.” Ross told FoxSports.com.

Ross said that Lesnar has recovered from his diverticulitis and that the stage is set for a UFC return should he decide to do so.

“I could identify with that diverticulitis and diverticulosis. It’s not something you heal from very quickly. Your body has to make major adjustments.

“It looks to me like he’s gotten back on track. He looks phenomenal strength-wise. He’s just scary looking. He’s more scary looking than he was before he left [WWE the first time].”
