In a great bit of casting news, it appears we will soon be seeing more of a certain Smash star.
TVLine reports that Andy Mientus has been cast to play the hearing impaired (and openly gay) DC Comics villain Pied Piper on The Flash.
One of DC’s original Rogues, Hartley Rathaway (Pied Piper’s alter ego) is a brainiac who used to work at S.T.A.R. Labs until he ran into issues with his mentor Harrison Wells (Tom Cavanagh). The same particle accelerator that gave Barry Allen his speed unfortunately took away Rathaway’s hearing but served as his motivation to create sonic weapons that will allow him to take his ultimate revenge on Wells. He wants to destroy his new protege.
