Ben McKenzie has been perfect in the role of James Gordon and what more can be said about Robin Lord Taylor’s portrayal of Oswald Cobblepot?
In that regard, the show’s casting department is at it again as it has booked Homeland‘s Morena Baccarin for a pivotal recurring role.
TVLine.com has confirmed that Baccarin has landed the iconic DC Comics role of Dr. Leslie Thompkins.
Thompkins is a gifted and dedicated physician who was a friend of the late Thomas and Martha Wayne. Initially, she will want to put her medical skills to use where they are needed the most and that’s why she accepts a position at the Arkham Asylum’s Home for the Criminally Insane.
Her abilities to stay cool under pressure will also be put to the test when she finds herself attracted to James Gordon and into more and more dangerous situations.
