Jose Aldo has a not-so secret weapon that he plans to use against Chad Mendes at UFC 179 this weekend.

With the fight taking place in Rio de Janeiro, the featherweight champion has a clear homefield advantage and says that he plans on using it.
“The support is wonderful,” Aldo said. “I’m an emotional guy and my confidence rises because of that. I know that the arena is going to be full and everybody is going to vibrate with me. I’m sure that I’m coming forward like a runaway truck.”
Aldo also admitted that it was possible that he could jump out of the Octagon to celebrate with his fans.
“With Lord’s grace, we are going to do what we have to do or the security will catch me and don’t let me do anything.”
