Anderson Silva Signs New Deal With UFC, Middleweight Agrees To 15 More Fights

Apparently, those who thought Anderson Silva was done were sorely mistaken.

The former middleweight champion had eight fights left on his UFC contract, but Dana White apparently didn’t think that was enough.

When Silva had dinner with White and Lorenzo Fertitta last Thursday in Rio de Janeiro, they came to terms on a new deal that will see ‘Spider’ fight 15 more times.

“I had seven fights on my contract (after the Diaz fight). I met Lorenzo and Dana on Thursday and that contract was canceled. We signed for another 15 fights,” Silva told Combate. “To make Dana crazy, I signed for 15 more fights. And to make my family crazy, too.”
