Jimi Manuwa Suffers Broken Foot, Ovince St. Preux To Now Face Shogun Rua

News

You gotta feel for the UFC.

The injury bug has been playing havoc with the fights the organization has been booking. Fights involving champions Jon Jones, Chris Weidman, and Cain Velasquez have all been changed in recent months because of injuries suffered during training camps.

The latest to go down is Jimi Manuwa who has suffered a broken foot, which has resulted in him pulling out of his match against Mauricio ‘Shogun’ Rua on November 8. In his place will be Ovince St. Preux who was originally scheduled to face Francimar Barroso on the same card.

It is unclear if Borroso will still fight on the card or if an opponent can be found on such short notice.
