Contrary To Reports, Muhammad Ali’s Doctor Says Former World Champion Is Not Near Death

While Muhammad Ali has seen better days, his doctor says that his condition isn’t grave.

Last month Ali’s brother, Rahman revealed that the famous boxer, 72, was now unable to speak or leave his home in Arizona. This started speculation that the decorated fighter was near death.

Good news arrived, however, when Ali’s doctor, Dr Abraham Lieberman went on the record to say that the boxing legend’s health is not a major cause for concern.

He told BBC Radio 5 live: “I don’t know that he is more or less at risk than anyone else but anything can happen

“I don’t see anything immediately that leads me to think that he is going to die in six months or a year.”
