While Stefan and Caroline fans have had a lot to deal with this season, including his mistreatment of her, many still long for a reconciliation.
E! Online caught up with the show’s executive producer and asked her to elaborate on the chances of this happening.
“Caroline hoped that if Damon ever came back, she would get Stefan back too,” Julie Plec said. “She’s still very hurt, and he has amends to make, so we’ll see in the coming episodes whether they can find a way to repair their friendship.”
