Guardians Of The Galaxy Blu-ray Trailer With Quotes From Mindy Kaling, Rainn Wilson and Andy Richter

Media, Trailers

During the summer, Marvel Studios’ Guardians of the Galaxy was considered a “risk” because its characters were more unknown than the likes of Iron Man and Thor. That risk was justly rewarded around with globe with a cumulative total of $768 million worldwide. It was also the first film this calendar year to cross $300 million in the United States. As great as it did in theaters, Guardians is about to explode on home video this holiday season.

Starring Chris Pratt (of The Lego Movie and TV’s “Park & Recreation”) as Peter Quill, Zoe Saldana (Avatar, Star Trek) as Gamora, former WWE superstar Dave Bautista as Drax, Vin Diesel (in his most dramatic performance since The Iron Giant) as Groot, and Bradley Cooper (going from Academy Award nominee to voicing a talking racoon) as Rocket, the hit Marvel space opera was the Star Wars sequel we should have got instead of those stupid prequels. Entrusted to writer-director James Gunn, of Slither and Super fame/infamy, the sci-fi action-comedy played to great response from audiences and critics alike and now it is coming to DVD and Blu-ray just in time for Christmas on December 9th. But those who have ditched physical media for streaming can start getting the digital HD (or 3D) release starting November 18th.

To help amp anticipation, Marvel Studios has released a quick 80-second trailer promoting its upcoming Blu-ray Combo Pack.
