Unconfirmed sources are reporting that MTV’s Ryan Knight has passed away.
Knight appeared alongside McKenzie Coburn, Preston O’Neil Roberson-Charles, Ryan Leslie, and Sahar Dika on the show’s 24th season. He also played hockey for the Kenosha Knights and the Fond du Lac Bears but left his professional career behind after suffering a severe injury to both of his shoulders. His dependence and subsequent recovery from painkillers was featured on the series.
On The Real World, Ryan shared an on-again and off-again relationship with fellow roommate Jemmye Carrol.
The MTV star who participated in many different iterations of the network’s Challenges, was quite active on social media and tweeted as recently as earlier this morning.

Knight was only 27 and cause is currently unknown.
News of his unfortunate death comes just after the passing of fellow MTV personality Diem Brown.
