Another light heavyweight battle has been added to the UFC on FOX 14 lineup.
Phil Davis will meet Ryan Bader on January 24 in Stockholm, Sweden. The UFC confirmed the match today.
Davis (13-2, 1 NC) defeated Glover Teixeira by unanimous decision at UFC 179, while Bader beat Ovince St. Preux by unanimous decision in August.
“I’m going out to get this win and that is exactly what is going to happen” Bader stated in a press release. “Phil is a great fighter and a win against him will keep my momentum going in 2015.
“I’m excited to fight in front of the passionate fans of Sweden” Bader continues. “The fans there are amazing, I can’t imagine how electric the stadium will be. I’ll be looking forward to feeding off of the crowd and putting on a good show for these fans.”
