Grutman vs. Jennette

GRUTMAN: Welcome to an all new Grutman vs. Jennette! Congratulations on your victory last week rookie.

JENNETTE: Wow, I’ve been upgraded from NOT Daniels to Jennette, I feel so blessed!

GRUTMAN: You feel blessed because you have your name in the column? Buddy, Daniels was kissing my ass hardcore last week. You slip up even once and you’re back to being Smackdown’s not Keith.

InsidePulse’s WWE Byte This Report: 12.08.04

Before the recap, I wanted to send my condolences to the friends and family of Dimebag Darrell, the guitarist for Damageplan, Pantera, and the last three Anthrax studio albums. He was an incredible axe-wielder and a hilarious personality, not to mention one of the most unique performers in a genre that is hard to stand out in. I’d also like to send my condolences to the three fans who were also killed at the same concert; no one should have to worry about dying when they go see their favorite band and it’s a terrible shame that it happened. I doubt anyone involved with them reads my column, but as a regular concert goer and a Pantera fan I’m really bummed out about this.

[Deconstructing the Moveset] – A Year of RAW Part 2 of 4

On a short note I’d like to say that I LOVED RAW this week. And last week’s Smackdown! opening match (mixed tag) was one of the best booked and paced matches I’ve seen in a while now. I’m a wrestling high at the moment and damn, doesn’t it feel good.

Make sure that you vote in the Inside Pulse Wrestling Year End Awards. Nothing is more important than the IPWYEA’s. Nothing except…

Paul Heyman Comments On His Situation In WWE

Paul Heyman did a phone interview this morning to promote the “Rise and Fall of ECW” DVD.

When asked about his current role with WWE, Heyman states, “I don’t even know anymore. (Laughs). It changes by the week. I’m the wonderful hero that they all turn to and then the next week, I’m the lunatic that ran ECW and we can’t wait ’til your contract’s up. It all depends on which way the wind blows in my relationship with WWE–like a roller coaster with the blindfolds on. “

Not-the-Weekend News

Hello everyone, welcome to the same BS column, just on a different day. FYI,
I haven’t watched Turning Point yet; still working on the download. And, to
remind you all, or for those of you unfamiliar with the column, I don’t get
UPN, so no Smackdown. I used to review it when I had a Sunday column, but even
that didn’t always work, since I’m at the whim of my stupid POS computer. I
COULD still do it for this column, but it would end up being LAST week’s Smackdown,
and who wants to read about that? All together now: NOBODY. In other news, I
start reviewing comics over in the Nexus next week, so keep your eyes peeled.
On with the news…
