Overnight Smackdown Rating
Smackdown last night did another 4.0 rating on the overnights based on the top 56 metered markets, putting UPN in fourth place on the night. The 4.2 second hour easily beat both FOX and ABC, both of which did 2.8’s, for third place.
RAW & Smackdown To Do Joint Taping
WWE will be doing a double taping on 1/31 in San Jose. They will tape Raw live at 6 p.m., and then at 8:30 p.m., tape Smackdown for the next Thursday. Tickets go on sale on 1/8.
ECW To Return On PPV?
There is talk going around that WWE intends to put on an ECW PPV. The plan is is that it will take place on June 5, 2005 in New York City at the Hammerstein Ballroom, the site of ECW’s final two PPV events.
