News on Cock & Bull, The Battle of Fallujah, and Bronze God

Variety reports that Sarah Polley and Chris O’Donnell will star in a film adaptation of Cock & Bull, based on the book by Will Self.

Matt Nix will direct the film and calls it “a dark comedy about an ordinary middle-class woman who, while in a stifling marriage to an alcoholic husband, transforms into a man.”

Splinter Cell, The Flash Get Directors

Variety reports that Paramount Pictures will be adapting Tom Clancy’s video game Splinter Cell with Peter Berg (The Rundown) directing.

J.T. Petty and John J. McLaughlin, who co-wrote the video game, will write the screenplay along with Berg. The game follows the plotline of government spy Sam Fisher, as he tries to stop a terrorist organization from disaster. Two games have been released already by Ubisoft and have sold over 6 million copies worldwide.
