WWE Wrestlemania 31 News: Undertaker Status, Contract, Likely Opponent

What’s up with Taker for Mania?

Despite a recent picture of the Undertaker looking old, there is still a possibility he could work for WWE at Wrestlemania 31.

If the Undertaker is able to work the show, his likely opponent would be Bray Wyatt. There was concern that with Sting, both are older and need to be carried and couldn’t work with each other reliably. Wyatt is considered a strong in-ring worker that could carry Taker if needed.

Even if he isn’t in a match, WWE would like to see Undertaker as part of the Wrestlemania 31 experience. He’s said to be a $1 million per year deal and hasn’t made an appearance since losing to Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania 30.
