Earlier this week, in partnership with Empire State Realty Trust, Inc., Empire lit up the night with a spectacular light show on the Empire State Building’s iconic tower, choreographed by internationally acclaimed lighting designer Marc Brickman, synchronized to the premiere broadcast of the single, “The Moment,” on Power 105.1 at 8:20 PM ET. Prior to that broadcast, on-air hosts Charlamagne Tha God, Angela Lee and DJ Envy, from the nationally syndicated hit radio show, “The Breakfast Club,” sat down with Empire’s prolific music producer, Timbaland, for an exclusive 30-minute tribute program, “Timabaland’s Music Empire,” which aired on 44 iHeartMedia stations, including Power 105.1. The program featured a custom mix of Timbaland’s greatest hits, curated by Timbaland himself and mixed by the Breakfast Club’s DJ Envy.
