The Midnight News 01.10.05

I just hope you found another rat to play with. Or is that “I’m going to be alone for the rest of my life” crap for real?

Until next time fairy.

J.D.

It’s real… only more or less assumed… I dunno, circumstances change from month to month with me.

I believe I warned you people about calling me “fairy”.

hey, get the f*ck off the net, you talent dick stain

Kenny

MAKE ME!!

hey shit for brains, get off the f*cking net, sperm lick!

Kenny

You again? I SAID MAKE ME!!!

I swear, this guy wrote me twice with two variations of the same theme.

Ok, off the top of my head, I can come up with Bret Hart, Steve Austin, Ric Flair, Hulk Hogan, Mick Foley, Chris Jericho, Kevin Nash, JBL, Rock, Goldberg, Terry Funk, and Jerry Lawler (I’ll stop there) as guys who can do mainstream interviews and not come off like the public’s perception of a pro wrestler. I see the point you’re making with the “HHH is better than you” angle, but you’re off target this week. And since I don’t speak Spanish or Japanese, I suspect the list is
quite lengthy, no?

Matthew Woelfle

Hart sounds like a Canadian wrestler, Austin sounds like his character, Flair is never asked to do mainstream interviews and has been a wrestler for so long, I doubt he could speak on any other topic, Hogan? Are you shitting me? You have a point with Foley and Jericho and Nash. JBL can talk money, yes. Rock… yeah, Rocky is awesome in any interview environment, Goldberg? ARE YOU SHITTING ME???, Funk is like Flair, and Lawler is a mute if the topic ain’t either wrestling or Andy Kaufman. Who cares about the Spanish or the Japs? So, you’re half right and I’m mostly right.

InsidePULSE’s Live WWE RAW Coverage

InsidePULSE’s WWE Raw Report 01.10.05
Live from Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.
Announcers are JR & The King
Report done *EXCLUSIVELY* for InsidePULSE by PK

Show opens with HHH coming down to the ring, followed by Flair. HHH laughs, and wants to hear the excuses. Is it politics? Is it favorism? He says that it’s his 10th title reign, and he is just hitting his stride. Flair then says that HHH is the man, and we must have respect for him. HHH says no, the fans are useless. However, he says that Batista is not useless, and he introduces him. Batista then makes his entrance, however, right after Orton comes out. Orton says that it is obvious that Batista has HHH’s back, but the same can’t be said the other way around. Orton says that he has footage from last night, proving that HHH doesn’t have Batista’s back. HHH down plays it, says that all the footage Orton has was taking a cheap shot at Batista to hit the RKO, so HHH wants to get out of there. Batista, however, wants to see the footage. They show the footage from last night, Orton gets the RKO on Batista, and HHH gets up, but then sits back down, and lets Orton get the pinfall. HHH starts back peddling, and tells Batista that he was hurting, and had loss a lot of blood, and Batista obviously doesn’t believe him. Orton then says that he was screwed, and he demands a Title Match. Bischoff comes out, and agrees. HHH says that Orton signed an agreement, saying he can not challenge for the title while he is the Champ. Bischoff says that when HHH lost the title, the stipulation was lifted. However, after what we just saw, Bischoff thinks that Batista deserves a title match, so we will be having a #1 Contender Match, with Batista facing Orton.

The SmarK RAW Rant – January 10 2005

– And speaking of people who can only win, all the time, your 10-time World champion, HHH, is the opening interview, fresh off padding his personal record with another belt. Personally I don’t care if he beats Hogan’s record, but let’s leave Flair out of it. He explains that politics and favoritism have nothing to do with it (nah, of course not) and that he’s just the best, and no one in the world on any show can beat him. He points out someone in the crowd with a sign that says “HHH is God”. Man, what kind of jerk would say something like that? He has the book, the hit movie, the title, blah blah blah. Gosh, I just love these 20 minute self-aggrandizing interviews from HHH. And he introduces his friend, his buddy, the guy who would never betray him, Batista. Lawler thinks HHH might be sucking up to him. Well, really, who wouldn’t? However, Randy Orton ruins the love-in. HHH is actually pretty funny in brushing him off (“Celebrations are for winners. You’re a loser.”), but the bitter loser Orton decides to be a shit-disturber by showing footage from last night of HHH failing to save Batista. The crowd seems to side with Batista on that one. Orton wants a rematch for himself, however, tonight, so he’s not all altruism. Bischoff notes that HHH’s no-Orton clause ended with HHH losing the title, but it’s only gonna be Orton v. Batista in a #1 contender match instead. Big boos for that decision.

Monday Night Rabble

Welcome to the next installment of the Monday Night Rabble. First off let me welcome Eric G., Jenna, Erik H., Angela, and Danielle. That’s right.. 50/50 boys and girls. Now Angela doesn’t know much about wrestling so she isn’t big on the snarky comments. As you will see though, we really weren’t either tonight. After a PPV that didn’t do much for the world of wrestling, and a lackluster show on the horizon – we were more interested in telling Angela stories about the Montreal Screwjob, and explaining what the hell Simon Dean is doing.
