TNA Impact Wrestling Taping Results For 01/30/2015 and 02/06/2015 [Spoilers]

TNA did the final of three nights of TV tapings for 2 more weeks of Impact on Destination America.

January 30, 2015

Bobby Roode came out with the TNA Title. I have no idea how since MVP left with title the previous night and the crowd was confused. Roode cut a promo about his promise to hurt Eric Young and offered no explanation on how he got the title. He called out Lashley. Austin Aries won the Feast or Fired briefcase for a world title shot. The others were not reviled to the crowd. They set up a four-way for title Aries vs. Roode vs. MVP vs. Lashley.

1. Taryn Terrall over Gail Kim and Madison Rayne to retain the TNA Knockouts Title.

2. Jeff Hardy beat Abyss in a Monster’s Ball. Hard core spot fest.

There was a Tommy Dreamer and Eric Young promo. Young took out Dreamer, and Bobby Roode made the save.

3. Mark Andrews and Rockstar Spud over Bro-Mans.

There was an EC3 promo.

4. Lashley beat MVP, Austin Aries, and Bobby Roode in a four-way to retain the TNA Title. There was a post match attack by Beatdown Clan. Kurt Angle and Gunner made the save.

They set up matches for Lockdown in a promo.

February 6, 2015

1. Tyrus over Rockstar Spud and Mark Andrews. Post match, EC3 tried to shave Spud’s head. Jeremy Borash stopped them and ended up in my lap.

2. Awesome Kong over Havok. Not good. This came off very disappointing.

3. James Storm and Abyss defeated The Hardys to retain the TNA Tag Titles. There was a Jeff injury angle. It looked kinda nasty. Everyone assumed they did the angle because Jeff can’t go to the UK.

MVP came out with Kenny King and Eric Young to cut a promo. Kurt Angle, Gunner, and Austin Aries came out. A brawl broke out and they did a Gunner injury angle.

There was a Brooke and Robbie E segment regarding The Amazing Race. Worst segment ever. I can’t stress enough that this was the worst of TNA all time and killed the entire crowd. Fans didn’t give a shit and took over the show to please themselves at this point.

4. Bobby Roode over Eric Young. A good match but that race segment ruined it. The crowd was totally dead. They never should have done that. It was a classic case of TNA being TNA.

Lethal lockdown
5. Team Angle (Kurt Angle, Lashely, Gunner, and Austin Aries over Samoa Joe, Kenny King, MVP, and Low Ki in a Lethal Lockdown match. Really? Unprotected head shots? Aries was the only one smart enough to protect himself.

Final thoughts: The crowd was hot, but TNA had to be TNA. The race segment ruined everything. It killed the show for everyone. I was going to give the show a B-plus, but because of the race segment and the aftereffects the show gets a D.
