The New Avengers: Age Of Ultron Trailer Is Awesome And Mysterious

Media, Trailers

Those who have been wanting to get their fix at Joss Whedon’s upcoming sequel to The Avengers (and you know you have) got their wish last night during ESPN’s telecast of the NCAA National Championship football game. But if you aren’t a fan of football and missed the teaser trailer, well you’ve come to the right place!

After the reveal of the first teaser on ABC’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., which was impressive enough, I didn’t think this new one would be that much more impressive. Needless to say, I love the brand new footage that includes snippets that are awesome and also mysterious.

Written and directed by Joss Whedon, The Avengers: Age of Ultron is the epic follow-up to the billion-dollar blockbuster with Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) and Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo) working to build a new defense system that will protect the world in the wake of the fall of S.H.I.E.L.D. The plan backfires and they end up creating Ultron (James Spader), a super intelligent robot who comes to see the human race as a disease that must be cured. To stop Ultron, Iron Man, Hulk, Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Captain America (Chris Evans), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), and Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) must reteam. To see what happens, well you’re just going to have a buy a ticket when Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron hits theaters on May 1, 2015.
