What is up with Main Event?
WWE Main Event aired tonight on the WWE Network, but it will be the last airing of the show for the indefinite future.
WWE has a TV deal with Sky Sports in the UK market. Since there is only a single feed for WWE Network, airing Main Event would be in violation of that deal, so it has to be taken off for now.
In the Main Event slot for January 20, 2015, there will be a Royal Rumble special hosted by Santino Marella.
WWE officials are hopeful that the issue can be worked out over the next two weeks, and think that the show might be back on the WWE Network in time for January 27, 2015.
