What caused the change?
Although the Elimination Chamber PPV has been replaced by Fast Lane, it was assumed it was for booking purposes.
However, that might not be totally the case.
On a recent podcast, Stephanie McMahon revealed that the Elimination Chamber itself was the problem logisitcally.
The Chamber, which weighs approximately 10 tons or 20,000 pounds, is enormous. Built in 2002, arenas have evolved to have elaborate high-tech scoreboards above where the ring is set up. These gigantic scoreboards are conflicting with the setup needed for the Chamber, and became harder to find venues to book the event.
