Now that Lyndsy Fonseca has been added to the cast of Agent Carter, many fans have wondered if Fonseca’s stint on Nikita will lead to her character being more than just an aspiring actress.
At the recent TCA event in Pasadena, the show producers attempted to address the rumours.
“She’s got an attitude and she can meet Peggy toe to toe and push against Peggy’s need to not get close to anybody,” executive producer Michele Fazekas said. The EP also mentioned Fonseca’s athletic abilities as playing an important part in her being selected for the role. “We wanted someone formidable,” Fazekas continued.
Fonseca also said that she will see some physical activity on the show, but that it isn’t meant to duplicate what she did on Nikita.
“I feel like it’s such a great change and such a great opportunity to do something different, stretch, learn and keep me on my toes,” she said.
