What would the deal be?
WWE is apparently in talks with clothing brand Tapout for a partnership of some sort.
Tapout was once a major sponsor of UFC for Mixed Martial Arts attire and equipment. However, UFC has made an exclusive deal with Reebok that locks out Tapout for the forseeable future. This obviously has had a massive negative impact on Tapout’s business.
Tapout was founded by Charles Lewis, who built the company on grassroots MMA, has few options for major deals like this, and WWE was a natural partner.
While nothing is set yet, there is definitely talk that a partnership could be in the works for sometime soon.
