Judging by its schedule of Marvel superhero movies, taking animated classics and making them into live-action films, and something called Star Wars, how on earth would Disney have the time to fit an original movie into its film calendar?

And yet the studio has and has done so with the likes of director Brad Bird (The Incredibles, The Iron Giant, Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol) and star George Clooney. Bird’s new film, Tomorrowland plays on the notion that we can go anywhere and make anything.

Here’s the skinny from the official synopsis:

From Disney comes two-time Oscar® winner Brad Bird’s riveting, mystery adventure “Tomorrowland,” starring Academy Award® winner George Clooney. Bound by a shared destiny, former boy-genius Frank (Clooney), jaded by disillusionment, and Casey (Britt Robertson), a bright, optimistic teen bursting with scientific curiosity, embark on a danger-filled mission to unearth the secrets of an enigmatic place somewhere in time and space known only as “Tomorrowland.” What they must do there changes the world — and them — forever.

The spot may only be 30 seconds, but it’s enough to encourage travel preparations to visit Tomorrowland on May 22, 2015.
