Traditionally, athletes haven’t done well on The Apprentice. With that said, Johnny Damon still managed to put together an impressive display. Just like his run with the Boston Red Sox, Damon was able to put together a hot streak during which he was able to amass five straight wins as a member of Team Infinity. Unfortunately, the outfielder ultimately struck out when Mr. Trump decided to fire his entire team after they lost a task that asked them to create a jingle for Anheuser-Busch’s Bud Light Rita.
I caught up with Damon at Monday’s Celebrity Apprentice finale where I asked him if he thought he was too nice for The Celebrity Apprentice. He also elaborated on why he thought Leeza was the best choice as this year’s ultimate winner.
