Just like Leeza Gibbons, Lorenzo Lamas was beloved on The Celebrity Apprentice. The actor and director really didn’t clash with anyone except Geraldo (which doesn’t even really count). Lorenzo was fired only because he chose to fall on his sword and not bring any of his teammates back to the boardroom on a task where he oversaw his team create a viral video for Chock full ‘oNuts Ground Coffee.
Lorenzo returned to the show as a member of Team Geraldo, as he attempted to help his former nemesis win the final task.
After our first interview earlier this season, I caught up with Lorenzo in-person at Monday’s Celebrity Apprentice finale in New York to ask him if he was surprised that Leeza was named the winner and what it was like to work with Geraldo again. He also gave me an update on his newest foray into the literary environment.
