What is up with veterans on NXT?
In recent weeks, NXT TV has featured former main roster WWE wrestlers Rhyno and Brian Kendrick.
They were brought in to work with NXT talent, and make some fun TV appearances on NXT, but not for full time WWE returns, or even long term NXT runs. The idea is to use veterans who can still work in the ring to teach new wrestlers. When the guys work with each other, they can improve on their timing and will improve, but they’ll learn more working a match with a veteran.
Rhyno was last seen on TNA TV in 2014, and Kendrick now has his own wrestling school.
