Welcome to Demythify! I’m wrapping up my thoughts on the Convergence two-shots this week.
As I noted two weeks ago, DC Comics is releasing 40 two-shot Convergence tie-in mini-series over April and May 2015. The two most important Convergence related series in my opinion are the main Convergence weekly series and the Booster Gold two-shot.
My thoughts behind this are that the weekly series appears to carry us from the endings of Multiversity, New 52 Future’s End and Earth 2 World’s End to the experimental DC universe titles world post-Convergence. In terms of Booster Gold, he is a time-traveler and someone who can traverse the multiverse. He appears to be set to play a big role in Convergence.
Accepting that, two weeks ago I shared my Top 10 Convergence two-shots; these were my fave characters and/or series of those eras.
However, there are also five more series I plan to read which makes this my Bonus Top 5! The criteria for these picks is that they primarily involve Earth 2 with one involving Earth 3. The April and May 2015 DC Comics Solicitations follow for each of two-shot mini-series picks below.
