Fans of The Blacklist have been waiting for an update on Red’s condition after we last saw the character get hit with a bullet.
When the NBC drama returns on April 23, the topic will be addressed right away.
“We pick up immediately, in the moments of the shooting. Dembe was being shot at, and Red’s bleeding on the ground, clearly wounded in a horrible way,” creator Jon Bokenkamp recently told TVLine.com. “[Red’s condition] creates a void, and Liz is going to have to step up and fill the space that is occupied by Red and work through this situation.”
