A couple interesting notes:
- Joel, Bad Ry, Cynical Bastard and Mike Gojira are tied for 1st Place! Congrats boys.
- We now have people tied for 8 different places as opposed to 5 – everything is starting to space out which will make this more exciting.
- Finn McInnes (who is apparently in touch with the writing staff at WWE) missed the first round of the Open (WrestleMania), but got a PERFECT SCORE for Extreme Rules and is halfway up the ranks after missing 1 out of the 2 PPV’s included so far. Great job Finn!
- Given that Shaemus just returned and his opponent is a guy WWE hates, and given that Barrett’s opponent was changed last-minute to a guy who’s been on the main roster for all of a month, I figured that those two, who are boring as fuck and suck ass, would be pretty safe choices. AGAIN they let me down. AGAIN. That is getting dangerously close to Matt Morgan and Ken Anderson levels of letting me down.
Please keep checking in before the PPV’s, I will have something up after the final SmackDown taping before the PPV so I can get all the matches in one article. With 20 people, this could be an interesting tournament.
