Manny Pacquaio’s Career Earnings Will Move Beyond $400 Million After Saturday’s Mayweather Bout

While Floyd Mayweather’s nickname is ‘Money,’ his opponent could certainly share the same moniker.

Manny Pacquiao has earned more money in his career than almost any other professional athlete that is still competing today. After his match against Floyd Mayweather this Saturday, Manny Pacquiao is expected to push his total earnings from boxing and endorsements past the $400 million mark.

While it is unclear how much the Filipino fighter will make for Saturday’s highly-anticipated match against Floyd Mayweather, it is expected to be upwards of $80 million. With PPVs buys factored in, this could push Pacquaio’s pot to $120 million for the single fight.

Apparently Manny has already received some of his money. Top Rank promoter Bob Arum told the New York Times: “On Monday morning, I will hand Manny a check for $50 million as a down payment, guaranteed.”
