JR Blog: Clears Up Reports About Saying “Never” Working For WWE, Global Force Wrestling,

News

Jim Ross had a new weekend blog, here are some highlights:

on Global Force Wrestling
Lots of talk regarding Global Force Wrestling this past week as they announced their plans to do multiple, TV tapings in the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas for future airing on a network TBD. I had a wonderful experience working with Jeff and Karen Jarrett, Kevin Sullivan and the entire crew on the Wrestle Kingdom 9 PPV back in January in Tokyo and would enjoy working with them again if we can work out all the details. I have so many existing projects already scheduled plus some new options being discussed so I don’t know if there are enough days on the calendar to be able to work along side Chael Sonnen of which I know we would both enjoy. Chael and I had immediate chemistry when we broadcast the Battle Ground PPV last fall which is extremely hard to develop and replicate that quickly.

on Reports About Saying “Never” Working For WWE
Just to clear up something that I read on the Internet, I never said at any time that I would never work for WWE again but that it was highly unlikely that I would ever broadcast for them, certainly on a regular basis, in the future. I close no doors on any opportunity that I feel that I’d enjoy and that helps support my family and contributing to a company who I was with for 21, challenging albeit rewarding years isn’t off the table. What some fail to realize is that I am of the mind set that I can contribute to WWE or any wrestling company, combat sport entity, etc in more ways than just behind a mic.

on Raw
With all that said, Monday Night RAW needs to be hotter than donut grease Monday night from Cincinnati when one would assume that Dean Ambrose, who hails from there, will be positively featured. Ambrose has been somewhat off the primary radar in WWE but he is the type of talent that can be easily heated back up with the proper focus. I’d also like to see Roman Reigns take on more of a villainous or edgy persona as that will eventually lead him to ‘leading man’ status more efficiently.
