The CW’s 2016 mid-season TV series DC’s Legends of Tomorrow debuts in early 2016 when CW’s Arrow and The Flash seemingly go on a hiatus. DC’s Legends of Tomorrow will likely take over the Arrow or The Flash timeslot with presumably The CW’s mid-season replacement The 100 taking the other.
The team of DC Comics heroes and villains that make up DC’s Legends of Tomorrow will have their on-TV live-action debut, in part or in full, in The CW’s The Flash Season 1 Finale next week. There has already been an official team photo released followed now by an official live-action trailer and a sizzle reel.

Sara Lance, played by actress Caity Lotz, is back from the dead via Ra’s Al Ghul’s Lazarus Pit and assumes the moniker of the White Canary. Her sister Dinah Laurel Lance, played by actress Katie Cassidy, remains the Black Canary on CW’s Arrow.

- Brandon Routh – The Atom (from CW’s Arrow)
- Caity Lotz – White Canary (formerly Black Canary, however she seemingly died in CW’s Arrow)

Official synopsis:
- When heroes alone are not enough… the world needs legends. Having seen the future, one he will desperately try to prevent from happening, time-traveling rogue Rip Hunter is tasked with assembling a disparate group of both heroes and villains to confront an unstoppable threat — one in which not only is the planet at stake, but all of time itself. Can this ragtag team defeat an immortal threat unlike anything they have ever known?
We know from the trailer that the immortal enemy the team will be facing is Vandal Savage; which we called when news first broke of this new time-traveling DC Comics team for The CW.
