Murtz On The Scene: Big Brother Canada 3 – Day After Season Finale Interview With Kevin Martin

Features, Interviews, Top Story, Video

The day after Sarah Hanlon was named the winner of Big Brother Canada 3, I headed to the backyard to do extended interviews with the entire cast. I caught up with Canada’s player, Kevin Martin, and we discussed his immense appeal and what he attributed this to. I asked Kevin if his best strategic move was one that was completely unintended, referring to when he was using the HOH bathroom and overheard the girls alliance pitch that Sindy was making to the others. I asked Kevin about his ability to play puppetmaster and if it was really his move to evict Sindy when she returned to the house (even though she was sent packing during Pili’s HOH reign). I asked Kevin about all the times he made the Fortress hand gesture in the Diary Room (only to have his supposed ‘partner-in-crime’ JP not reciprocate) and if he ever felt like the girl who wasn’t asked to dance at prom as it seemed Jordan’s primary loyalty was to Zach during the initial stages of the game. Kevin admitted that it stung to learn that JP was initially more loyal to Zach but he was still willing to work with him (after JP came clean about Newport). I asked Kevin about all the twists this season and if Big Brother Canada’s third season became a contest where the luckiest player would be crowned the winner over the most deserving. Kevin also opened up about his relationship (or lack thereof) with Bruno in the house and why they never seemed to be able to get on the same page. I also recruit Kevin to become my Niagara wingman and, yes, Kili/Kevlar fans, we end the interview with an update on how Kevin feels about Pilar. Check out the video above!
