WWE Planning Possible Major Summerslam 2015 Storyline For The Undertaker and Sting

There are more and more signs that WWE is bringing back the Undertaker for a summer storyline culminating in a marquee match at Summerslam 2015 in Brooklyn, NY. But the plans also apparently include Sting.

According to reports, The Undertaker is booked to appear on Monday Night Raw on July 20th from Kansas City. This is the first Raw after the Battleground 2015 PPV.

In recent weeks, Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman have been feuding with Seth Rollins, but have also been going against Kane. On Raw last week, Heyman even mentioned that Kane was the Undertaker’s brother, which is not brought up very often.

WWE is looking to create a second marquee weekend similar to Wrestlemania, and are pushing Summerslam weekend very hard. Already included is a major NXT show, and WWE is looking for major Mania-style angles as well.

Dave Meltzer is reporting that not only will the Undertaker be at Summerslam, but so will Sting. There is no word on whether it will be a match between them or a team of some sort.

The storyline is expected to begin either at the Raw after Battleground, or even on the PPV show itself. Undertaker or Sting or both could be surprises for that PPV, which also features the return to the ring of Brock Lesnar.

Earlier this week, a current day picture of the Undertaker surfaced online and began to fuel speculation. Jim Ross also mentioned a possible Undertaker appearance in his latest blog.

We should know more about this storyline on Sunday after the PPV and Monday after Raw.
