Michael Bisping

In an interview with MMA Junkie after his split decision win over Thales Leites (25-5 MMA, 10-4 UFC), Michael Bisping (27-7 MMA, 17-7 UFC) once again took a shot at Vitor Belfort. Here are highlights:

On Vitor Belfort
I have no respect for that guy whatsoever. I think he’s a piece of sh-t is what I think. I’m not sure I’m getting my message across on how I feel about him.

On Belfort’s drug test issues
As a fighter, everybody wants to face the guys who have victories over them, especially guys that have victories for unfair reasons; they’re all taking testosterone-replacement therapy, they’re using their backside like a dartboard, they’re cheating scumbag motherf-ckers. I would love to face them on a fair playing field. Test them before the camp, during the camp, and the night of the fight. Does that answer your question?

On getting a spot on UFC Fight Night 77
Of course. Regarding the top-10, it’s full of killers. It’s a very tough time to get that belt. But it’s now or never – I’m not getting any younger. If I can get another win, another top-10 win against another guy later in the year, I think I’ve earned my title shot. I mean, I’ve been around forever. I look out here now, and apart from yourself and a few others, I don’t recognize any of you guys – because I’ve been here that long, fighting the best in the world for so long, it’s about time I got my goddamn f-cking title shot.
