Grand Rapids, Michigan – July 20, 2015 Composer and arranger Sean Schafianski is thrilled to present a 20th anniversary tribute to the soundtrack of Squaresoft USA’s cult classic RPG, Secret of Evermore, with his own unique spin in the form of Secret of Evermore: Remastered Tracks. As the first soundtrack composed by renowned artist Jeremy Soule (Skyrim, Guild Wars series), the Secret of Evermore soundtrack has been cherished among game music fans for its impressive cinematic presentation despite the technical limitations of Nintendo’s Super NES console.

As Secret of Evermore has fallen into obscurity over the years, Schafianski wanted to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the game’s 1995 release by producing high-quality arrangements of some of the most memorable themes, which are now licensed and available on LOUDR:

“Squaresoft RPGs like Secret of Evermore hold a special place in my heart,” reflects Schafianski. “WhenEvermore came out in 1995–I was only six!–I had already caught the RPG bug, and the game’s quirky style quickly won me over. I want game music lovers to experience the same nostalgia I did when listening to this amazing soundtrack again.”

Secret of Evermore: Remastered Tracks is the latest entry in Schafianski’s Video Game Music Remastered (VGMR) series, which includes similar tributes to the music of NieR, Final Fantasy VI,Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy VII, and more. Fans who want to pick up Schafianski’s past works can do so at a discount by bundling their purchases exclusively on LOUDR. View Sean Schafianski’s VGMRcatalog here:

“With all of my Remastered Tracks albums, I want to stay as true to the source material as possible,” comments Schafianski. “The point is to pay tribute to amazing soundtracks by fantastic composers, while giving the music a breath of fresh air and a little artistic twist on my part. I create all of my arrangements by ear, listening closely to the original then trying to recreate the magic. I hope you enjoy listening to these arrangements as much as I enjoyed making them!”
