The “Fantastic Four” cast will be walking the red carpet for their NYC premier tomorrow- for their film which opens Friday- you know, the one that they’re in- and somehow they still haven’t seen the final cut of the film.
If you need proof: “We haven’t seen the film either,” Miles Teller told BBC News over the weekend.
The actor, who plays team leader Reed Richards also told Newsbeat: “Rarely are films of this size critically well received,” he said. “This is not a movie we’re going to go on (review website) Rotten Tomatoes and it’s going to be at 80 or 90 per cent.”
Well, that doesn’t display overwhelming confidence. Of course, he hasn’t seen it yet, so it’s not the most well-informed opinion. Maybe we’ll all be in for a nice surprise.
“I’m going to try to see it opening night with a real audience,” said Kate Mara, who plays Sue Storm.
Me and you both Kate- critics have also been shut out from the film, with a press embargo in place until Wednesday.
It’s nice to know it’s not just us.
