JT on NXT – 5th August 2015 – 10 Thoughts (Kevin Owens, Finn Balor, Samoa Joe)

1. Bayley vs Charlotte was a nice back and forth with Bayley keeping pace with the Nature girl throughout the match. Despite her competitiveness, Bayley’s win was a surprise, although handled well without making Charlotte look weak.

2. Michael Cole interviewing Kevin Owens is a competition to see who can be the bigger tool. Owens wins, obviously, although he misses the opportunity to powerbomb Cole on the ring apron.

3. Regal announces Bayley vs Becky Lynch next week for the number 1 contendership, which should be a good match

4.Tyler Breeze vs Aaron Solo was a predictable squash that did nothing for anyone, except set up a match vs Liger, which is awesome

5. Nice Liger package – if you’re unfamiliar with his work, check him out on YouTube.

6. Finn Balor interview. He is a man of action, not words. And yet you show us an interview rather than a match. Why, NXT?

7. Ryder and Rawley vs Dawson & Wilder was a solid tag match, but I don’t really care about any of the men involved (sorry broskis)

8. No entrances for Joe vs Rhyno? Way to show disrespect, WWE…

9. On the upside, the match was hard hitting and Joe seemed to be working harder than most of his NXT matches so far. The man-beast is still able to put on a great match, but the finish was never really in doubt.

10. Better episode of NXT than the last few weeks, with time given to a couple of four star matches.
