Universal Pictures, which is having a banner year on the success of Furious Seven, Jurassic World and Minions among others, looks to have another hit on its hands with the release of the N.W.A. music biopic Straight Outta Compton.
So it comes as no surprise with the release of Compton, which charts the rise of a hip hop group that popularized the music subgenre of Gangster Rap, and had Ice Cube among its members, that Universal drop the first trailer for Ride Along 2.
Stars Ice Cube and Kevin Hart return in the action-comedy sequel that carries the tagline “The Brothers-In-Law Are Back” on the poster. Though, judging by the trailer, Cube and Hart haven’t reached that familial status yet.
Nevertheless, the duo look to continue its action-comedy shenanigans as an assignment takes them from Atlanta to Miami. And joining them we have Ken Jeong, Benjamin Bratt, Olivia Munn, and Sherri Shepherd.
