Big Brother 17 Episode 24 just wrapped up! Here’s a recap of everything that went down, and what we think you should expect to come:
WARNING: Spoilers below (duh).
The episode started off following the double eviction. Steve has just nominated Meg and Jackie, resulting in Jackie’s eviction. Meg tells us that Steve took out her best friend and is blindsided, and doesn’t know what he was thinking. James says he doesn’t know what he was thinking either, and that someone must have been in his ear, and he didn’t do that on his own.
Steve says he didn’t want to win the HOH, and was trying to throw it. Vanessa had told him that Jackie was planning on putting him up back during her HOH, and Meg wouldn’t get voted out regardless, and that was his reasoning. He now thinks he should have gone after a big threat, probably Becky.
James tells Meg they are up against the house now. James tells her his theory about Steve being fed lies about Jackie, and that they need to keep fighting. Austin and Vanessa enter the room to comfort James and Meg, while Austin tells us that Sixth Sense took a few major hits in a row, and it is nice to be back in power.
Steve still being upset is confronted by Liz, Julia, and Vanessa. As they leave, he tells us he’s acting 50%.
Meg tells Becky and James she wants revenge, but Becky says they need to play smart, and that they must win the HOH. John comes in, and says he had to not use the veto because Steve asked him not to. They realize it’s essentially them VS. Austwins and Vanessa, and they need to pull Steve.
Steve talks to Meg, and tells her he heard Jackie tried to go after him. Meg says that isn’t true, and that she blames the person who told him that (Vanessa) for her eviction.
HOH time, Liz is this weeks Head of Household.
Becky tells Meg that she is very worried, and that Vanessa is going to gun after her hard until she’s actually gone.
The twins and Vanessa all celebrate, Steve enters and they continue to celebrate. Liz tells him he has no need to worry this week and is completely safe. Vanessa tells Liz their target should be Becky, Liz says she can’t do that, and John immediately enters and interrupts the conversation.
Sixth Sense meets about nominations. Liz says Steve isn’t going up this week. She says she’s thinking Meg and John, and try to backdoor Becky. Vanessa and Austin say they should put up John and Becky, and if the POV happens they can put up James as a backup.
Becky goes and talks to Austin and the twins. Liz asks if there is anything she should know from her, and she tells them about Vanessa’s plan to get Austin out, and how big a threat Vanessa is, making them all very worried about Vanessa in their games.
Sixth Sense has another “meeting” with Steve and form an alliance called the Scamper Squad.
John asks Vanessa if he’s going up. Vanessa assures him he’s not the target but doesn’t know. He says he’s real worried, and Vanessa says he should go and ask them, but before he does, wants to know where they stand. John says he felt bullied during their fight, insulting Vanessa. Vanessa asks if their in any animosity, and he says he doesn’t like when she cries and yells at people.
Vanessa walks out of her conversation with John and goes up to the HOH and discusses it with her alliance, and says that he needs to go. As she’s describing it, John comes up, and Vanessa asks for privacy. John says OK, but it seems fishy. Vanessa says they’re fine, but laughs as he leaves.
Liz nominates Becky and John for eviction.
