WARNING: Spoilers below (duh).
The episode started off following the Nomination ceremony. Liz has just nominated Becky and John for eviction. Liz tells us that while she has made nominations, she could still backdoor Vanessa, and is not sure what to do. John says he must win the veto, or he’s going home. As Austin goes to hug him, he gives him the death stare.
Vanessa tries to smooth things over with John, and tells him he’s not going home. She says that he’s very capable of winning the veto, and even if he doesn’t they won’t vote him out. She also claims that when she was talking to the Austwins she was asking about his safety. John tells us he doesn’t believe her.
Austin complains to the twins about the death stare incident, and how he never talks game with them and could have easily asked them for a deal.
John tells Steve he must win the veto or he’s going home. Steve tells him to stop fighting with Vanessa. Steve tells us he wants to help John, and wants to figure out why his relationship is bad with the twins.
Steve goes to the HOH with the rest of the Sixth Sense. Liz and Julia say they are scared of John, and Steve tells them that he’s just nervous of being alone, and they say John is angry. Vanessa and Austin both claim they’ve tried on multiple occasions to work with John.
Austin and the twins discuss how this week is all about seeing people’s reactions. Liz calls John in, and Austin tells him info about Vanessa is starting to come about, and asks about their discussion earlier. John tells them that Vanessa claimed she was asking about his safety, which was clearly a lie.
Liz, Becky, John, Austin, Meg, and Steve are all selected to play in the Veto competition.
John tells Austin that the pick went well, and Austin suggests that John throw it to him and they’ll all have his back.
John tells Becky that is they both want to be here at the end of the week, she needs to win the veto. Becky thinks she sucks at competitions.
Liz wins the Power of Veto.
Vanessa asks Liz if they talks to John about his target, Liz says no and he’s just been interacting better with them, and that Becky is more of a threat. Liz tells us that Vanessa is constantly gaming and insecure, while Austin says she’s paranoid. Austin tells the twins they just need to make her feel safe until they are ready to go after her.
Austin give Liz a hickey, Julia flips out.
Vanessa randomly has a breakdown in the backyard, and tells Liz that Austin and Julia and herself never talk to each other anymore. Liz tells us she’s just playing the victim again.
Liz tells Austin and Julia about Vanessa, and they all agree it’s scary that she feels that way, as the last time she felt this way she tried to go after Austin.
Liz has decided not to use the Power of Veto. Either Becky or John will be evicted.
