Much has been talked about today about Undertaker briefly collapsing while making his exit after the shenanigan-heavy victory over Brock Lesnar.

It was believed by many (thought, never officially confirmed by WWE) that Undertaker would be making an appearance on tonight, the 8/24 edition of Monday Night Raw. However, that appears to be no longer the case.

According to PWInsider.com, Undertaker is obviously banged up from the match but went straight to his hotel after the match and, though seemingly fine beyond that, he flew home to Texas and will not be appearing tonight on Raw.

Perhaps WWE officials knew ahead of time that they weren’t going to be using Undertaker tonight and planned the collapse (and Taker appears to get right back to his feet once he reaches the curtain) to explain why he isn’t on the show and to distance himself from the cause of the controversial finish (keeping the focus on the timekeeper). Or the collapse was legitimate but ended up being fine and WWE wanted to give Undertaker a rest afterwards. Either way, everybody’s favorite dead man will not be on the show tonight (if reports are to be believed) but clearly the final chapter between Brock and Undertaker has yet to be written.
