WWE Monday Night Raw 08/24/2015 Highlights (Huge Returns, Major Storylines, Brock Lesnar, Sting, Dudleys, Jon Stewart, Ric Flair)

News, Top Story

WWE had a gigantic post-Summerslam edition of Monday Night Raw from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn New York.

Brock Lesnar opened the show to challenge the Undertaker to another match but Taker was not on the show. Instead Bo Dallas came out and took the beating.

A huge return for the Dudley Boyz got a big response from the NY crowd.

Jon Stewart came out to explain why he cost John Cena the title at Summerslam. It turns out he is a huge Ric Flair mark and didn’t want Cena to beat the streak! This is consistent with what he was saying about Undertaker’s streak at Summerslam. Cena came out, and sold huge for Stewart, getting super upset and then AA’ing him.

Plus, the Wyatts debuted a new member to get the numbers advantage on Roman and Dean.

The central storyline of the show was HHH and Stephanie McMahon presenting Seth Rollins with a statue for winning at Summerslam. During the main event segment, as the statue was to be unveiled, it turned out to be Sting instead. He ran everyone off and challenged Rollins, and will now be facing Seth for the title at Night of Champions
