Peter Cushing Will Be in Star Wars’ Rogue One

Peter Cushing was a famed horror actor long before Star Wars came along. Even casual Star Wars viewers know the face as he portrayed Grand Moff Tarkin in A New Hope. So what’s Star Wars to do when they make a movie that takes place before Episode IV? Bring back Tarkin, of course. And yes, Cushing passed away back in 1994 so Rogue One will feature a fully digitally-created Cushing, as reported by the Daily Mail.

The name of the source wasn’t included but did have this to say:
“They are going through hours and hours of old footage from the horror movies to recreate his legs and feet to produce realistic movements. It is eerie to see someone who has been dead for so long come to life on a screen.”

So what does everybody think about this? Wouldn’t it have been simpler to cast somebody else to portray the character?
